The immortals of Meluha

An immigrant from the land of Tibet. An immigrant who knew but little of his fate and what future stores for him.An immigrant who would be worshipped as a god after but a few centuries. An immigrant, whom legend turned into a god.I witnessed the story of this immigrant in the archetypal and compelling book of the immortals of Meluha.

Little does he know of the world beyond the substantial himalayan mountains that he looked at every day.Until, the day came when he found out his true destiny. It was astonishingly to destroy evil. And he has nothing to say about him.
The story begins with the introduction of a small army who come to beseech the fierce and furious tribe of the Gunas to become part of their kingdom.Such invitations were very conventional but, to the Gunas, this was new and absurd. Thus, they patiently waited for their chief's arrival, for he would take the decisions that would affect the tribe. It is then that the chief of the gunas, the formidable chief. The one who would later be hailed as the destroyer of evil. The one whose karma re-cast him as the Mahadev, the god of gods. The Lord Shiva. The Gunas had always suffered attacks from a nearby tribe called the Pakratis. Thus, the chief contemplates upon the subject and arrives at a decision that would change his fate forever-they will move to the land of Meluha.Upon arrival, the Gunas saw something they had never. The kingdom of Meluha was an exact opposite to the rough village of the Gunas.
It was only the first night in Meluha when the entire tribe of Gunas had fallen ill.Yes, as absurd and incoherent as it may seem, the whole tribe fell ill but one person. The well trained and proficient team of medics rushed around and attended to each and everyone of the tribe. Now, that wasn't unexpected. The doctors had expected this, but something else left them gaping. The chief hadn't fallen ill; his long-lost frostbitten toe had turned back to normal. His dislocated shoulder had placed itself back to perfection. And of all things, his neck had turned blue. The meluhans could do but surmise on one statement-The lord neelkanth had arrived. The one who would save the kingdom from evil. Shiva, however found all this perplexing. He was frightened but, he wouldn't run away. And of all the questions, does he want to be the hero who would save the mighty kingdom? To much of my discontent, I will leave the question unanswered, for I exhort you to read the captivating and unputdownable book of the immortals of meluha.
These are my opinions on the staggering book-
I deem that the author has done a wondrous job in describing the kingdom-right down to the smallest of the specifications.Only a person with very high levels of intuition could have written this masterpiece. The narrative style ought to leave any reader spellbound and fascinated.
I could go on and on about the engrossing book, but it would be tenfold better if you read it yourself and relish the enthralling book.I counsel the book for anyone who can read.Yes, anyone!
However, I was crestfallen with only one defect. The author uses the same words over and over again that it created ad nauseam. For instance, the word "awe-inspiring" has been so frequently used that the mention of that word piqued me! Other than that, I do not express any other objection.
By and large, the book was substantially staggering and stirring.I'm sure you can find time to read it!
