Today is the 7th of May,2017.It consisted a dainty bit of everything;I woke up early and had a delectable breakfast. Then,I walked around-here and there, talking to the horde and just fooling around.I had fun playing with my sister and cousins.Subsequently, my grandfather and I went out.I had asked him to get an old dictionary (aging around 40 years!) bound. The dictionary is old and tampered with but, it has words unmatched. It consists of around 170,000 words! while my Concise Oxford has only about 80,000.The dictionary is a "Chamber's 20th century dictionary.Unfortunately, the "book-binders" turned their backs on us.They told us to show up tomorrow and to add to the misfortune they said they will most presumably have to make two books out of that one massive, Brobdingnagian book.I then came up to think-"Well, something's better than nothing".Believe me or not, that motto of mine has helped me out on sundry occasions. My grandfather did not give up hope; he took me to another book binding shop.I was disappointed to find out that the other shop was also closed; but I hope tomorrow's result will make me merry again.I then cruised around the marvelous city of Mysore and appreciated geometric and colorful posters and pictures (of Mysore's heritage) which were on the walls for as long as I can remember.I then came back and prepared to go to the French class. All I had was: a 180 page book in one hand and a pen in the other.I went there and waited a short duration for my teacher to turn up.She had decorated her classroom really well.Posters and pictures about France decorated the walls; leaving not a single empty space. She made me do revision of what I had done some three years ago.Obviously, I answered the questions with the skin of my teeth.Surprisingly, my aunt had come to pick me up.My grandfather had to go somewhere else so, naturally, I came back home walking a mile r two with my aunt. The weather was pleasant and I had made an ad hoc hypothesis that it will rain.Like always, my hypothesis came true and luckily we reached home before lightning covered the sky.I had a palatable snack that my grandmother had prepared.I had pleaded her for the last two days that she made the delicious, mouth watering Indian snack-masala puri.A rainy day, a hot snack; there is something missing in the list.Of course; rainy day, hot snack and a movie! I watched a kannada movie with my family-"Godhi banna, Sadharana Mykattu".I found the movie utterly interesting. It was mainly emotional but, I was astounded that such astonishing movies existed! And that's it for today's rather long blog :) Au revoir!
