365 days after the first post; my aunt's birthday with a lot of alacrity

Today, the 24th of April marks the birthday of my blog.It was on this day that I wrote the first post on this blog, I still remember it's title-"My Aunt's birthday with a lot of alacrity".And so was it today, my aunt's birthday.Today was  fun, as I think about it.
The day started early at 6:27 A.M when I was woken up to get ready for the morning walk with my cousin Dhanush. We walked a 6 km walk to the helipad. There, me and Dhanush played catch with a tennis ball which he had brought with him.Alors, we came back home and of course, to all obvious reasons plausible, I slept. At around twelve, all of us (my family-grandfather, grandmother, mom, aunt, sisters) were to go to a restaurant where we had a buffet planned for my aunt. The food was good, appreciable.Succeeding that, I came back home and soon after, was in my cousins' house.I watched a movie with him (Fate of the furious) and when half-done, came back home (yet again...)  because he had to go to tuition classes.I came back home and did math for around three hours. It was time to get my aunt's cake and soon, time to cut it.I call my aunt Chickamma, the Kannada word which literally translates to "small mother".But to me, she is more than just an aunt.It was she who took care of me in my early years, teaching me, playing with me, and being the motherly figure every child requires. When I think about it, she was my first teacher, teaching me what I'm using right now to communicate to you, teaching me the English alphabet.Although she has her own children now (my beloved cousin sisters), she still treats me like her own son.She keeps making me make promises to her that,if I hadn't promised her, wouldn't have done, and which in turn would have led me to a state unimaginable. The little lessons she teaches me are bound to stay for eternity.Fortunate am I who has such a loving aunt.
The cake me and my mom had ordered yesterday was a caramel cake and it was just luscious. We had a cake-cutting session and then took some photographs.Done that, everyone left to do their chores or just do whatever they want.I had my dinner, which was delicious cottage cheese made by my grandmother, for the first time.Subsequently,I watched some music on YouTube.Uptown funk's been stuck in my mind for the last week and today, I heard this really weird song, some dame pa sito or something, with some alien dancing around to the same lyrics.I mean, seriously? That's dumb, boy.I also listened to several different versions of the imperial March and it did a good job in enlightening me.Now, I sit here writing this blog post on my kindle fire. And when I'm done, I'd be ready to go and fall asleep which is, as a matte of fact, now.Bonnie Nuit, mon ami, Russel.
